Florida WCA

Activities

Workshops & Webinars

FloridaWCA brings together multiple stakeholders with different perspectives and organizational contexts interested in actionable climate and water science relevant to water supply and resource planning. Our workshops and webinars focus on understanding stakeholder perspectives, assessing climate tools, evaluating applicability of tools to water resource and supply operations planning, communicating climate information, and using the information for decision-making and operations.

Projects

Collaborative proposal development sustains shared interests in relevant climate data and tools for use in water supply and resource planning. Two projects funded by NOAA were critical to formation of the network and to developing cutting-edge, “myth-busting” climate science. As the group continues to grow, they look to expand applicability of climate science to a broader group of water resource stakeholders. Proposals continue to be developed.
