Florida Water & Climate Alliance Webinar

AI and Technological Tools in Water & Climate Science

June 26, 2026

10:00am – 12:00pm (ET)

Artificial intelligence and advanced technologies are rapidly entering the water and climate space—but how are these tools actually being used by practitioners, and what should decision-makers know before adopting them?

This 2-hour Florida Water and Climate Alliance webinar will feature a series of practitioner-driven “show and tell” case studies highlighting how AI and other technological tools are supporting water and climate modeling, forecasting, planning, and management. Presenters will share how these tools have been integrated into real projects, the benefits they offer, and the challenges and limitations encountered along the way.

This webinar will take a practical, transparent look at what AI is doing, what it is not doing, and what it means for the future of water and climate work. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to responsibly and realistically use AI-enabled tools in their own work.
